Little brother of Baba Sissoko, the master of tamani (talking drum), Djimé Sissoko is a young malian musician. He plays and tours with Baba Sissoko with Black Machine and Tama Revolution groups, with Sadibou Kante and on the last two Samba Touré's albums Crocodile Blues (2011) and Albala (2013). He mastered the ngoni and tamani. Djama Djigui is his first solo effort recorded with musician friends in his neighborhood and with the participation of Zoumana Tereta (Samba Toure, Oumou Sangare, Bassekou Kouyate, Vieux Farka Touré ...) on the traditional violin, Sokou.
